To use the interactive
parts of our CHM4411L website, you need to
choose
an alias for your identity for the computer
to call you, called a GLobal ID (username) and a security
code associated with that alias called a password.
You will use this information for the WebCT functions of the course and
thus everytime your browser is pointed at the server webct.nerdc.ufl.edu:8900.
Don't lose this information; You choose
the username and password only once, and then use
them for the entire semester!
To Choose your password:
- Find your course section
number. Your Section number determines the day of
the week that you are in the Laboratory: Tuesdays (0821); Thursdays (0822)
- Recall your Group number assigned to you on the first day of Class (I, II, or III).
- The WebCT server will want to know if you
have already created a WebCT Global ID.
* Regardless of whether you have a
WebCT account at Nerdc or not, ANSWER NO to this Question
- Then the WebCT server will ask for the following
information:
Your first and last REAL names,
Your section number for CHM4411L Fall '00 (0821 or
0822)
Your group number (I, II, or III)
A Global ID (your
unique choice) and a Password (don't forget it).
Now you are ready to set up your account.
